Five To Thrive

Thrive is something that I’ve been manifesting for a long time, I want to say the better part of 10 years but I never knew how it would unfold. I knew that I wanted to HELP, I’ve always wanted to be able to connect with people one on one, listen to their dreams and also the barriers holding them back from achieving those dreams. Wellness is my passion. Learning how to take care of my body and in turn my mind has helped me become a stronger and happier person and I wish nothing less than that for everyone in this big beautiful world.

I am lucky enough to have found an incredible community but I know that it’s not easy and so I am here, to help you. To help you find your support, to be part of that support system, to help you tackle life’s ups and downs while navigating change, to help you take small, achievable steps to let go of what’s limiting you so you can move toward a well rounded and healthy life.

A few months ago I was listening to the audio book, “Girl Stop Apologizing” by Rachel Hollis and in one of the chapters she was talking about “Five to Thrive”. Little did I know at the time that I would name my business Thrive and it wasn’t until weeks after that I had made the connection. While listening to her talk about The Five to Thrive, I pulled over my car and whipped out my journal and jotted down what she had to say. She had listed five things that I already was doing in my life but wanted to make sure I continued to do so and anytime I write something down it sticks better in my brain. Months later, just before going public with Thrive, I was taking out my journal and accidentally opened to the very last page which is exactly where I had written these words:

Five to thrive:

  1. Hydrate
  2. Wake up earlier
  3. Give up crappy food
  4. Move your body
  5. Practice gratitude daily

If you’re lost on where to start, begin here. Just pick one and begin to incorporate it into your life each and everyday. Our body and mind loves routine and in time what seemed impossible before will become habit. Slowly you can add one more from the list, as you feel ready.
